If my report is bad, will you tell me not to buy?
No. Your inspectors goal is to report fairly on the property’s condition. Ultimately the decision to purchase is yours.
What if my report reveals problems?
No property is without its faults. If your inspector reveals defects, it doesn’t necessarily mean you shouldn’t buy the property, only that you will know in advance what to expect.
Can a property fail an inspection?
No. A professional inspection is a non-invasive, visual assessment of the property and comparison to other dwellings of a similar type and age that have a reasonable maintenance program in place. It is not a council inspection which verifies compliance to local government legislation. Your inspector will describe the property’s physical condition and what may need repair, including any structural damage and safety issues present at the time of inspection.
How long does it take to receive the written report?
All reports will be sent by email within 12hrs from time of inspection.
