We recently used CTP Pest & Building Inspections for a pre-purchase building and pest inspection before buying our first home in Newcastle, and the experience was excellent. As first home buyers, we didn’t really know what we should be looking for or what some of the things in a building inspection report actually meant.
The inspector took the time to explain the areas that needed attention and provided us with a detailed report that was easy to understand. We particularly appreciated that the inspection covered both the building condition and potential timber pest issues rather than just giving us a quick visual check.
There were a few items identified that we hadn’t noticed during our inspections of the property, and having that information before making such a significant purchase gave us much more confidence in our decision.
The whole process from booking through to receiving the report was straightforward and professional. Communication from the office was also very good.
