We used CTP Pest & Building Inspections to complete a Practical Completion Inspection on our new home. As we were nearing handover, we wanted an independent set of eyes to look over the property rather than simply relying on our own inspection.
The inspector went through the accessible areas of the home and identified a range of items that we hadn’t noticed ourselves. Having an independent building inspector assess the property gave us a much better understanding of the workmanship and the areas that needed to be raised with the builder.
The report was particularly useful because we could provide the documented findings to the builder when discussing the items requiring attention.
The inspector was professional and explained the inspection process clearly. We also appreciated that the report was written in straightforward language rather than being full of technical terminology that was difficult for us to understand.
For anyone building a new home, we would definitely recommend considering an independent Practical Completion Inspection before finalising the building process. CTP Pest & Building Inspections made the process easy and gave us much greater confidence heading into handover. Richard.S
